There are organized peacemakers with worldwide leadership alliances making a difference in policymaking: the Schiller Institute being one. Last month, hundreds got together in peaceful protest and it was attended by so well known activists. Get on the peace train, it's gaining momentum

Another well done, David. I think the focus has to shift to the banks who control the money system that creates and allocates all money as interest bearing debt which allows them to fund war which is also why we don't have universal healthcare in the US. Money is the constitutive governing factor, it controls public policy. Kucinich even introduced legislation (his last in 2011) that would have changed the system from private to public empowering Congress to fulfil its constitutional mandate articulated in the Preamble. (NEED Act HR2990) The bill included three things that need to happen all at once. Require Congress to be the sole creator of all U.S. money debt-free; End the privilege of commercial banks to create money. Transfer all remaining operations of the Fed to the U.S. Treasury.
